Pedaler's Jamboree Iowa Music Festival on a Bike Trail

The Pedaler's Jamboree is a music festival created for bicycle riders and non-riders alike! Get a ticket for a weekend bicycle ride full of adventure or a non-rider ticket for the main stage festivities available in Shenandoah, IA on August 27th. This is the first year of the Pedaler's Jamboree event on the Wabash Trace Nature Trail. Last year Pedaler's Jamboree Iowa took place on the Raccoon River Valley Trail. We will visiting a new trail system and new communities in 2016.
Bicyclists start at Mineola from 7 am to 9 am on the morning of August 27th in Mineola, IA (details coming soon). For non-riders with ticket passes to the Shenandoah Music Festival, gates open at 4 pm on Saturday, August 27th at Sportsman Park (606 Sportsman Park Rd, Shenandoah, IA). Camping will also be available at Sportsman Park and nearby at Waubonsie Park. Bicyclists depart from Mineola on the morning of Saturday, August 27th. Drop off your overnight packs at check in and prepare for a weekend of relaxed bike riding, music, and fun. The trail encompasses a wide range of landscapes, from wooded stretches, prairies, rivers and farmland. Stop at your convenience at a handful of locations to enjoy live music and entertainment. Bands will play throughout the day in communities across the trail.. The final destination, Shenandoah Iowa, will host the feature event with main stage music. Overnight camping at the two city parks will be free for all registered riders! Hotel/motel accommodations are available at local establishments. There will be food available at restaurants throughout the town of Shenandoah as well as food vendors. The following day (Sunday, August 28), riders will return to Mineola on the trail. Music and festivities will continue to rock until riders complete the ride at the end of the day on Sunday. |
